The EEA (European Environment Agency) report presents an assessment of the current and projected progress of EU Member States towards their respective targets under the Kyoto Protocol and of progress towards the EU target for 2020.
It is based on their past greenhouse gas emissions between 1990 and 2006, the projected emissions during the Kyoto commitment period 2008-2012 and for 2020. The data and related information were provided before 1 June 2008.
