Global Change Open Science Conference
10-13 July 2001, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

The Earth's environment and habitability are now, as never before, affected by human activities. This conference presents the latest scientific understanging of natural and human-driven changes on our planet. It will examine the effects on our societies and lives, and explore what the future may hold. Co-sponsored by IGBP, IHDP and WCRP, the Conference will emphasize the results of IGBP synthesis culminating from a decade of global change research, and will point the way forward towards the next decade of Earth System science.
Registration via the conference home page http://www.sciconf.igbp.kva.se
We expect this conference to provide key insight on where science stands today and how the worldwide science community envisions to respond.
